Gibson Custom Shop Slash Signed 1966 EDS-1275 Doubleneck Replica

NT$ 428,000.00

This is the Gibson Custom Slash Signed 1966 EDS-1275 Doubleneck Replica released by the Gibson Custom Shop in 2019, a worldwide limited run of just 125 pieces. It faithfully recreates Slash’s own 1966 Gibson EDS-1275 doubleneck and features Slash’s original hand-signed signature on the back of the headstock. This guitar first appeared during the 1991 Guns N’ Roses “Use Your Illusion” tour, most notably on the song “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door,” and is considered one of the most iconic guitar in his entire collection.

The EDS-1275 Doubleneck was introduced by Gibson in 1958. The first generation featured a semi-hollow body with dual six-string necks, but from 1963 onward it was changed to a solid-body construction with a six-string and a twelve-string configuration. This layout allows players to switch instantly between lead lines and lush, shimmering textures on a single instrument, making versatility the hallmark of the EDS-1275. Throughout rock history, legendary performances such as Jimmy Page’s “Stairway to Heaven” and Don Felder’s “Hotel California” were played on a Gibson EDS-1275.

It features a mahogany body, an Authentic ’66 Medium C-Shape neck with a rosewood fingerboard, a 1958 C-shape neck profile, and factory-installed Gibson ’68 Custom PAF pickups. The finish is aged to authentically replicate the look of Slash’s original EDS-1275.

On today’s market, the Slash Signed 1966 EDS-1275 Doubleneck Replica typically sells for close to $20,000 USD, and any Slash-signed model has become increasingly scarce. This piece is in near-mint collectible condition with complete certification and accessories, with only minor wear on the exterior of the case.

Comes with the original Gibson case and COA, paperwork.

The shipping fee includes insurance. We usually declare a low value on the shipping invoice and the insurance will follow the full value of the goods.

From Gibson:

Slash's rise to rock royalty featured a variety of iconic Gibson models, but it was the 1966 EDS-1275 Doubleneck that both diversified his sound and solidified his guitar-god aesthetic. He bought it from a small music store in Indiana in 1990 and put it into rotation almost immediately. Using the natural chime and chorus of the twelve-string neck and composing epic solos on the other, it became a favorite tool for studio and stage and an indelible part of Slash's sound. Gibson is proud to present this exacting replica of the original guitar, constructed and aged by the skilled craftspeople of the Custom Shop in Nashville, TN. Only 125 models will be sold worldwide, each hand-signed and numbered by Slash himself. Each will include a vintage replica hardshell case, a custom Slash concho guitar strap and a Certificate of Authenticity.
