全球限量100支，Slash親筆簽名板。2008年Gibson Custom Shop與Slash共同推出的第一款復刻琴，由傳奇技師Tom Murphy操刀，復刻於Guns N' Roses槍與玫瑰吉他手Slash手中編號81757532的1987 Les Paul Standard，100支簽名版、50支無簽名板。和原琴相同的三片式Top、由Cherry褪色後的Burst，Tom Murphy完整複製了原琴的傷痕位置，包括此琴在琴橋下方最經典的煙燙傷，連同斷頸裂痕跡與Slash長時間在演唱會上使用造成的大量磨損都複製了出來，讓整體細節都盡可能接近原琴。原廠配置一組和原琴相同的Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro-II Pickups，出力大、顆粒飽滿，Neck尺寸為接近60s的特規Custom Slash Profile。
1987年Slash向Gibson原廠購買了兩支相同配色的Standard，其中序號81757532陪伴Slash多年的演出，也參與了槍與玫瑰於1987年第一張專輯最經典的Sweet child o’ mine MV，而序號81607535卻在1999年於在家中遭竊，也因如此，這把1987年的Standard，成了Slash最珍惜的其中一支吉他，又名"Jessica"，而Jessica也是Slash目前在巡迴演唱會上最常出現的一支琴。2008 Inspired by Slash Les Paul Standard是Slash復刻琴款中相當經典又受歡迎的系列，其中就屬親筆簽名版本在市場上能見度最低，Tom Murphy在後期已不再製作任何Signature Model的舊化琴款，導致早期Murphy親手舊化的琴款顯得更稀有，收藏價值與保值性非常高，未來市場上釋出的機會只會越來越少。收藏品項，整體九成五新，有興趣的玩家們把握機會。

Limited to 100 pieces worldwide, the first replica guitar released in 2008 by Gibson Custom Shop in collaboration with Slash, the relic work by legendary Tom Murphy. It is a replica of Slash's 1987 Les Paul Standard guitar with serial number 81757532. There were 100 signed editions and 50 unsigned editions, this is the signed one.
Tom Murphy meticulously replicated the original guitar's wear, including the iconic cigarette burn below the bridge, as well as the neck cracks and extensive damage in all time used by Slash. Every detail was recreated to closely resemble the original one. The guitar comes with a set of Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro-II pickups, identical to the ones on the original.
In 1987, Slash purchased two identically colored Les Paul Standards from the Gibson factory. The guitar with serial number 81757532 has accompanied Slash throughout his career and even appeared in the iconic "Sweet Child o' Mine" music video from Guns N' Roses' debut album. Unfortunately, the guitar with serial number 81607535 was stolen from his home in 1999. As a result, the 1987 Standard with serial number 81757532, also known as "Jessica," became one of Slash's most cherished guitars and continues to be frequently used in his current live performances.
The 2008 Inspired by Slash Les Paul Standard is a highly sought-after and popular replica series, with very limited visibility in the market. Tom Murphy no longer produces any signature model relic guitars, making early Murphy-aged guitars even rarer and highly valuable for collectors.
The guitar is in collector's condition, with the frets are in 90% new.

Gibson Custom Shop’s Inspired By Slash Les Paul Standard restores Slash’s No. 1 guitar—one of two Les Pauls he received from Gibson in 1988—to the way it was just before he used it to make musical history. “This is the replica of the original 1988 Les Paul I had before I beat the hell out of it,” Slash says. “It’s sort of a trip for me to see it because it looks actually like the guitar after I had it refinished in 1988. This is what it looked like when it was brand new.” Slash’s beloved Les Paul made its debut on the lengthy tour to support Guns N’ Roses’ seminal first album Appetite for Destruction. The two-year tour began in clubs and small theaters and ended in stadiums, and at every stop Slash used his Les Paul to redefine the role of guitar hero and reintroduce hard rock to its raw and rebellious roots. With a pair of Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro pickups and the gentle aging of Gibson Custom’s Vintage Original Spec series, one of the most legendary guitars of all time has been restored to its original glory, complete with a Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish, faded to perfection. Crafted of the finest woods, the guitar is made of a carved maple top, one-piece mahogany back, and rosewood fingerboard. Each Inspired By Slash comes with a Gibson Custom Shop case and Certificate of Authenticity.
