This 1998 '58 Les Paul Reissue from Gibson's "Good Wood Years," as the 90s golden era. It features the classic Lemon Burst finish paired with an extravagant AAAAA killer flame top. The body is made of mahogany, the fretboard is rosewood, and the neck follows the 1958 neck profile. It is equipped with a pair of '57 Classic PAF pickups, with only the vol/tone pots and orange drop caps being upgraded, the original caps are retained in the case, while everything else remains original and unmodified.
This is a near new collectible, with approximately 95% of the frets remaining. The overall condition is extremely clean, with no obvious signs of use or scratches. The finish retains its original luster, just as it did when it was first produced 27 years ago, truly incredible for a vintage guitar. It also comes with the original serial number, checklist, and tag.
Les Pauls from the 90s hold a significant historical role in Gibson's Reissue series. Due to the quality of the wood and the selection of the tops, they are highly favored by players, making them a valuable collectible that continues to increase in value in the mark.
