Brand new display model, this special Limited Edition El Diablo Stratocaster was crafted by Fender's prestigious Custom Shop division, combining the timeless Stratocaster design with modern performance-oriented specifications. Finished in the highly distinctive Aged Pink Paisley, it pays tribute to the iconic 1968 Pink Paisley Strat while featuring Fender Custom Shop's Relic aging process, recreating the authentic character and charm of a guitar that has naturally aged over decades. The result is a perfect balance between vintage aesthetics and contemporary craftsmanship.
The guitar features a carefully selected alder body, paired with a Rift Sawn maple neck and maple fingerboard. Its substantial 10/56 "V" neck profile delivers a classic vintage feel with just the right amount of fullness, while the 9.5" fingerboard radius and jumbo frets provide exceptional playability. Tonally, it retains the signature Stratocaster sparkle and articulate high end, complemented by a warm, resonant midrange.
Electronics consist of a trio of Fender Custom Shop Handwound El Diablo single-coil pickups, with Handwound Strat El Diablo pickups in the neck and bridge positions and a Handwound El Diablo RWRP pickup in the middle, delivering outstanding clarity, dynamic response, and note definition. The Vintage Modified #2 wiring incorporates a five-way selector switch along with a Tone-Saver Bleed Circuit, preserving high frequencies as the volume is rolled back and allowing for more refined tonal control while maintaining exceptional clarity in clean settings.
Comes with the original Fender hard case and COA.
