Collector's Choice是2010年Gibson推出的收藏家系列，當年原廠號稱這是地球上最接近真正元年Gibson且最頂級的復刻系列，將依然存在於收藏家手中的50-60年代Les Paul包括外觀、傷痕、音色、規格等完整復刻，用料與音色都經過嚴格檢驗，原廠採用3D掃描技術，完整複製原琴的使用痕跡與傷痕位置，也是Gibson量產琴中收藏性最高的系列之一。
CC#14 "Wachtel Burst"是Gibson於2014年發表的限量CC系列，全球限量300支，復刻於美國音樂家Waddy Wachtel手中無編號的1960 Les Paul Standard。這支Les Paul是Waddy於1968年從Stephen Stills眾多收藏中挑選出來的，這是他認為琴頸最舒適，且音色清晰又平衡的Les Paul。
特選的桃花心木琴身、琴頸，搭配玫瑰木指板，原廠配置一組複製原琴PAF數值的Gibson Custom Bucker拾音器，當然也包括了原琴上的Bigsby搖座，這也是少數擁有Bigsby的CC Les Paul。而之所以證書會印上X-XXXX，是因為原琴琴頭後方的序號已無法辨識。

One of rock music's most renown sessions players, producers, and writers, Waddy Wachtel has worked among music's elite since the late 1960's:
Keith Richards, Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, James Taylor and Warren Zevon among them. For nearly as far back as Waddy has been weaving a masterful legacy into the fabric of the world's most revered music, he has been doing so with a very special guitar in hand: A 1960 Les Paul, selected by Waddy from Stephen Stills's extensive collection in 1968. Waddy describes his first encounter with his long time companion this way:
"When I picked it up and my hand went around the neck, it felt like time had stopped for the moment...This one was cut perfectly for my hand. Thin from top to bottom, ..yet still nice and wide across the fingerboard. I knew instantly that this was the best feeling neck l'd ever touched. Then, to top it off, when I plugged it in, it was clear as a bell with a much more brilliant top end than all the others.... Gorgeous treble!! Lead guitar player's pal..... Treblel ...the tones were miraculous. I decided that this guitar I was holding was most definitely "The One." The sound of my 1960 Sunburst is incomparable."

From its late 60's thin neck profile, to its entrancing, soft lemonburst finish, right down to every nuance of this amazing guitar's tone and wear, Gibson Custom once again creates an opportunity for a few more players and collectors to own and experience the essence of a singular, specific and legendary guitar.
