Gibson與日本樂團B'z吉他手「松本孝弘」在過去Les Paul與DC的成功合作經驗後，於2015年共同推出的全新Firebird Signature。這款琴的發展歷史可以追溯回2012年11月，松本孝弘向Gibson展示了自己的1991 Firebird V Reissue，這是一支經過改裝並擁有雙線圈的Firebird V，而他希望能製作一款全新的吉他，保持Firebird的基本設計，但需要更強的功能性。而Gibson Custom的團隊在2013年正式啟動Tak Matsumoto Firebird開發計畫，經歷了幾年與好幾支的Prototype，這款特殊的Firebird於2015年正式推出。

擁有傳統的Les Paul琴頭，改善了重量配比，解決了傳統Firebird頭重身體輕的問題，而整把琴的琴身比例也縮小了一些。3片式桃花心木琴身、玫瑰木指板、楓木Top，而琴頸繼承了松本孝弘過去DC系列的特規Tak Matsumoto Neck Profile .845" to .945" Profile，接近60s Style偏薄的尺寸，握起來相當舒適，拾音器為Burstbucker 2 & 3 Alnico 5，音色出力大、高頻突出，能更接近松本孝弘的音色需求。

整體九成五新，近收藏品項，只有漆面與金屬零件有著VOS的處理，琴身各處與琴背也沒有明顯的刮傷或敲傷。有興趣收藏的玩家們把握機會。

2015 Gibson Custom Shop Tak Matsumoto Firebird Trans Black Burst. It has a 3-piece mahogany body, rosewood fretboard with .845" to .945" neck profile, Burstbucker 2 & 3 Alnico 5 pickups. The guitar is in 95% excellent condition, it has very subtle signs of use, but it is in overall very good condition with no significant dings.
