全新2024 Gibson Custom Shop Jeff Beck “YardBurst” 1959 Les Paul Standard Murphy Lab Aged

這是Gibson Custom於2023年6月24號Jeff Beck生日當天發表的限量琴款，全球限量130支，紀念Jeff Beck在Yardbirds樂團的時光。1965年3月是Jeff Beck在他的職業生涯的一個重大發展，當時他加入Yardbirds樂團並替代Eric Clapton，為此，他購買了一把擁有Dark Cherry Sunburst的1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard，而這把吉他後來成為知名的YardBurst。

YardBurst在Jeff Beck的職業生涯發揮了最重要的作用，而在1968年左右，這把吉他被徹底的改造，原始的Cherry Sunburst被刨除成了原木色，琴頭因修復的關係而更換成了更大的L-5琴頭，並在指板的22格上鑲嵌了JB的字樣。

而Gibson的努力也得到了Jeff Beck的妻子Sandra Beck與朋友們的認可，Sandra Beck說到：「儘管這把吉他是在Jeff Beck過世後的18個月發表，但Jeff Beck與Gibson一同參與了這款YardBurst復刻琴的早期過程，並且他一直非常自豪能擁有這把吉他」。

This is a limited edition guitar model released by Gibson Custom on June 24, 2023, Jeff Beck's birthday, with only 130 units available worldwide to commemorate Jeff Beck's time with The Yardbirds. March 1965 marked a significant development in Jeff Beck's career when he joined The Yardbirds, replacing Eric Clapton. For this, he purchased a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard with a Dark Cherry Sunburst finish, which later became the famous YardBurst.

The YardBurst played a crucial role in Jeff Beck's career, and around 1968, this guitar underwent a complete makeover. The original Dark Cherry Sunburst finish was stripped away to reveal the natural wood color, the headstock was replaced with a larger L-5 headstock due to repair, and "JB" initials were inlaid at the 22nd fret.

This YardBurst is crafted by the Murphy Lab team, using the most professional techniques to recreate the appearance of the YardBurst during The Yardbirds era, with all specifications replicated from the original guitar, including the original Cherry Sunburst finish.

Gibson's efforts have also been recognized by Jeff Beck's wife, Sandra Beck, and his friends. Sandra Beck stated, "Although this guitar was released 18 months after Jeff Beck's passing, Jeff Beck and Gibson were involved in the early process of recreating this YardBurst guitar, and he was always very proud to own this guitar."
