2004 Gibson Custom Shop Jimmy Page Les Paul #1 "Number One" Reissue Authentic VOS

這是Gibson Custom於2004年發表的限量琴款，包括Aged舊化與VOS無舊化版本共兩款版本，復刻於Led Zeppelin傳奇吉他手Jimmy Page手中無編號的Les Paul Standard No.1，隨後於2009年推出了Jimmy Page另一把標誌性吉他Les Paul No.2。

Jimmy Page於1969年從Joe Walsh手中購入了這把傳奇的Les Paul No.1，其琴頸在購入前就已經幾乎被磨光了，同時也沒有序號，所以無法分辨其生產年份為1959年或1960年。而這把吉他在1970年代跟隨著Jimmy Page錄製了Led Zeppelin許多歌曲並且參與了許多演出，它成為Jimmy Page最珍貴的吉他之一，甚至形容這把吉他是他無可取代的「情婦」。

琴面採用了與原琴相同的經典Page Burst與不對稱的斜面楓木Top、相同形狀的琴頸，原廠搭配一組複製原琴數值的Jimmy Page Custom Burstbucker拾音器，並擁有與原琴相同的out of phase功能，後段拾音器可分離線圈，擁有Jimmy Page標誌性的音色，與普通的Les Paul截然不同。而VOS版本除了漆面與金屬的輕微舊化以外，原廠還複製了原琴更換Grover Rotomatics弦鈕而產生多餘的螺絲孔。

整體八成新，琴身各處與琴背有著正常使用痕跡與小傷，如圖所示，反映在價格上，但整體狀況良好，Fret約八成新也沒有過多的磨損。目前Jimmy Page No.1 VOS版本的市場行情約落在台幣45萬至50萬左右，Guitar Shop Taiwan提供更優惠的價格，有興趣的玩家們把握收藏機會。

This is a limited edition guitar model released by Gibson Custom in 2004, including both the Aged and VOS (non-aged) versions. These models are replicas of the legendary guitarist Jimmy Page's unnumbered Les Paul Standard No.1 from Led Zeppelin. Following this release, in 2009, Gibson introduced another iconic guitar of Jimmy Page, the Les Paul No.2.

Jimmy Page purchased this legendary Les Paul No.1 from Joe Walsh in 1969. The guitar neck was almost worn down before the purchase, and it had no serial number, making it impossible to determine if it was produced in 1959 or 1960. This guitar followed Jimmy Page throughout the 1970s, recording many Led Zeppelin songs and participating in numerous performances, becoming one of his most treasured guitars. He even described this guitar as his irreplaceable "mistress."

The top features the same classic Page Burst and asymmetrical Maple top as the original guitar, along with the same neck profile shape. It is with a set of Jimmy Page Custom Burstbucker pickups that replicate the original PAF pickups, and includes the same out-of-phase function. The bridge pickup is coil-splittable, delivering Jimmy Page's signature tone, distinct from ordinary Les Pauls. Besides the slight aging on the finish and metal parts, the VOS version also replicates the extra screw holes caused by replacing the original tuners with Grover Rotomatics.

Overall, it is about 80% new, with normal signs of use and dings, and scratches on the body and back, as shown in the photos, which is reflected in the price. The frets are about 80% new with no excessive wear. Interested collectors should seize this opportunity.
