Duane Allman 1959 Les Paul Aged是Gibson Custom於2013年發表限量舊化琴款，全球限量150支，由Gibson傳奇技師Tom Murphy操刀，復刻於Allman Brothers樂團已故吉他手Duane Allman手中編號9-0629的1959 Les Paul Standard。這是Duane在音樂生涯中最常使用的吉他， “The Allman Brothers Band”、“ Live at the Fillmore”、“Eat a Peach”都是使用原琴所錄製。這是少數由Tom Murphy親手操刀的Signature Model，原廠除了紋路挑選與原琴相近的木紋外，還完整複製了原琴的所有規格、配色、零件與使用傷痕，讓整體細節都盡可能接近原琴。原廠配置一組Custom Burcker Alnico III PAF拾音器，這組特製的拾音器能讓音色更接近原琴上的PAF，而和原琴相同無鐵蓋的拾音器配置能使出力更多些、高頻也更加的開闊。原廠附贈了一組紀念包、包含訂製的彩繪防塵套、製作Duane Allman 1959 Les Paul的簽名USB與一本特別版的大型證書。Tom Murphy在後期已不再製作任何Signature Model的舊化琴款，而眾所皆知，早期Signature Model配上Murphy Aged在市場上的價格都是年年上漲，且2021年Gibson推出由Murphy帶領團隊大量製作的Murphy Lab系列後，更使早期Murphy親手舊化的吉他顯得稀有，收藏價值與保值性非常高，目前歐美市場釋出價格約落在台幣40幾萬，而未來出現的機會只會越來越少。收藏品項，整體近全新，有興趣的玩家們把握收藏機會。

2013 Gibson Gibson Custom Duane Allman 1959 Les Paul Reissue Cherry Sunburst Aged by Tom Murphy. Gibson produced it only 150 in 2013, these early signature models with Murphy aged guitars are extremely rare in the market now. The guitar is in mint condition, no fret wear, just looks like new.

The Allman Brothers was a fantastic ”Southern Rock-jam band” which inspired generations of guitarists to come. Long solos and incredible drive was the main characteristics of this band from Atlanta, Georgia. Being first and foremost a liveband, their versions of ”Whipping Post” and ”Jessica” could easily go on for 20 minutes. Duane Allman had a number of Les Pauls. These two are recreated by Gibson Custom Shop.
