2019年Gibson Custom全新推出的新款六十週年紀念版，和市面上的六十週年不同，這是日本經銷的Hand Selected Editon手選特別版，以Slash最為經典的1959 Les Paul AFD為基底，製作僅僅約15支，於日本當地限定販售，包括琴身傷痕位置、零件配置、拾音器配色等都與2010年Gibson Custom Shop推出的Slash AFD相似，整支琴看起來幾乎沒有差異，但此Hand Selected手選限定版規格等級更高，用料也更好。由日本經銷商親自前往美國Nashville Custom Shop工廠進行紋路、木材重量等挑選後製作，木頭重量只有3.65公斤/8.05磅左右，這是非常難得的重量，音色也會來得比普通版本更好。這款六十週年紀念版R9是被原廠譽為Gibson最好、最復古的Les Paul Standard Reissue，且在市場上的評價相當高。新款的Les Paul Reissue加入了多年來研究Collector's Choice與True Historic系列的成果，從3D掃描的Top弧度以及琴頸規格和利用化學重建的塑膠料件，當然也包含了近年來一直使用的Hide Glue，而在今年原廠將電容改為了Luxe的全新手工大黃蜂，而這些細節都確實影響了吉他的音色，盡可能接近真正的50年的Les Paul，而VOS版本的金屬與漆面輕微舊化使得這支琴更加的復古。桃花心木琴身、Indian Rosewood指板，搭配一組Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Slash APH2N/AP Pickups簽名版拾音器，完整濃烈的Slash音色。2010年的Custom Shop Slash AFD Aged在目前市面上中古價格約落在台幣百萬上下，如果想要外觀相似、用料等級更高，這款絕對是首選。

Only around 15 made, this rare beauty, features a slash AFD aged look, hand selected flame top and 8.65lb light weight body. Indian Rosewood fingerboard, Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Slash APH2N/AP pickups, Luxe Bumblebees caps with new wiring harness, sounds great and vintage! Guitar is in mint condition, looks like new.

Beginning with vintage CTS potentiometers and bumble bee capacitors, every part of its internal signal path is designed to give you absolutely dead-on '59 Les Paul tone. Of course, it's next to impossible to find genuine '50s PAFs (even for Gibson). Instead, the Custom Shop 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard VOS sports a pair of Gibson's CustomBucker humbuckers.
