PRS Standard 24 Satin 是一把非常有特色的 PRS。不同於大多數我們熟悉的 PRS Custom 24，這把琴最吸引人的地方，就是它非常純粹的配置，沒有 Maple Top，而是只使用 Mahogany Body 與 Mahogany Neck 結構，搭配 Satin Nitrocellulose Finish，讓琴體呈現更加自然，直接的木材觸感與琴身線條也反而成為視覺上的主角。而這種全 Mahogany 的結構讓聲音具有非常漂亮的中頻厚度，同時保有 PRS 一貫清晰、具有延音的聲音特質。
琴身、琴頸為桃花心木，琴頸規格為 Pattern Thin Neck，指板為玫瑰木。整把琴採用 Satin Finish 平光漆面處理，而色漆採用 Pearl White 珍珠白，當不同角度時，漆面會折射出藍色的光澤，非常漂亮。原廠搭載 Paul Reed Smith 本人與工程團隊全新開發的 PRS DMO (Dynamic、Musical、Open) 拾音器，這是基於 PRS 多年研究傳統復古拾音器的寶貴經驗以及音色信號分析、調校技術所設計的最新拾音器，擁有非常廣闊、開放如人聲般的音色表現。共五段音色切換，清甜顆粒感十足的單線圈音色到出力突出的雙線圈破音都能勝任，音色相當全面。

The PRS Standard harkens back to Paul Reed Smith’s pre-factory all-mahogany guitars. Its all-mahogany construction promotes a warm, full, midrange-forward tone, and its “sinky” satin nitro finish brings a stripped-down look and roadworthy feel to the instrument.
The PRS Standard 24 features many classic PRS specifications, including a 25” scale length, Pattern Thin neck with a 24-fret, 10” radius rosewood fretboard, PRS Patented Tremolo, and PRS Phase III tuners with unplated brass shafts.
Under the hood, the PRS Standard 24 is outfitted with PRS DMO treble and bass pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. PRS DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) pickups have a “wide open” sound with vocal character, meaning they deliver clear, pleasant-sounding tones across a wide range of frequencies (bass to treble) in each pickup. DMO pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Products Engineering team. From our own hands-on research into coveted vintage pickup models to advancements in signal analyzation and “tuning” technology, these pickups incorporate every detail of pickup knowledge PRS has gained in recent years of R&D.
