這款「THE PORTRAIT Metal Front HISASHI Signature Model」為 Zemaitis以HISASHI 目前所擁有、由 Tony Zemaitis 於1990年代製作的原型琴為基礎，打造而成的全新金屬面板系列作品。相較於現行產線的其他型號，本款琴在上琴身輪廓上略為加寬，並採用雕刻感更為鮮明的金屬面板設計，搭配箭頭造型的大尺寸品牌徽章、Scalloped Nut 削切式上弦枕、短行程拾音器切換開關、各拾音器獨立的線圈分離迷你開關，以及斜角安裝的弦鈕配置等，這些特色規格也更貼近HISASHI的實際使用需求。

Founded in the 1950s by legendary British luthier Tony Zemaitis, the brand is renowned worldwide for its exceptional craftsmanship and highly distinctive designs, favored by iconic musicians such as Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Joe Perry, Richie Sambora, Zakk Wylde, Ronnie Wood, and Keith Richards. The “THE PORTRAIT Metal Front HISASHI Signature Model” is a newly developed metal front series model by Zemaitis, based on HISASHI’s own original instrument crafted by Tony Zemaitis in the 1990s. Compared to other current production models, this guitar features a slightly wider upper body contour and a more pronounced, deeply engraved metal top design. It is further equipped with a large arrow-shaped emblem, a scalloped nut, a short-throw pickup selector switch, individual mini coil-split switches for each pickup, and angled tuner placement — all specifications that closely reflect HISASHI’s personal preferences and practical needs.
In terms of materials, both the body and neck are constructed from carefully selected premium mahogany, paired with a high-grade ebony fingerboard. It features high-reliability Gotoh locking tuners, delivering excellent and stable tuning performance. The metal top, bridge, tailpiece, and pickup rings are all crafted from duralumin and enhanced with three-dimensional engraving. This high-strength yet extremely lightweight aluminum alloy not only offers superior structural integrity, but also contributes to a brighter, clearer tonal character with outstanding resonance.
The guitar is finished with an ultra-thin matte lacquer, which, compared to thicker traditional finishes, provides a more natural and refined playing feel while allowing the wood’s tonal characteristics to resonate more freely.
